The Shift-Diabetes study

Researchers at King’s College London are looking for volunteers to help them understand more about the factors driving dietary behaviours in shift workers with type 2 diabetes as part of a Diabetes UK funded study.

This page details the interview part of the Shift-Diabetes study. Please click here for details of the monitoring study.

Informal interview

Taking part in the interview involves attending an 1-hour meeting with a researcher via secure on-line platform. During the meeting, the researcher will ask you questions about how and when you eat when you are working night shifts, and what factors may influence this.

Volunteers will be compensated £25 for their time on completion of the interview.

Are you a hospital or residential care-based shift worker (any job role) working a mixed/rotating shift pattern with regular night shifts (minimum 4 nights per month) with diagnosed type 2 diabetes and are interested in helping with our research?
